Scope of support

Social skills training groups

I run Social Skills Training groups for children and adolescents. Social Skills Training is a form of support that can be helpful for every child and teenager. Not only for those with developmental difficulties or disorders. The sessions focus on developing competencies needed in everyday social functioning. During the meetings, participants learn assertiveness, understanding and naming emotions, effective communication, coping with difficult situations and cooperating in a group. Developing social norms, self-awareness, theory of mind and empathy is also an important element.
